The Super 60 Award is the largest business recognition program in Western Massachusetts. To be eligible for an award, nominees must be based in Hampden or Hampshire County or be a member of the ACCGS. Nominees must also be privately owned and have had revenues in excess of $1 million in the past fiscal year.
The purpose of the award program is to celebrate those privately-owned companies that contribute to the strength of the regional economy. “Many of the names on the top 30 revenue list belong to longtime stalwarts of the local economy, such as W. F. Young Inc. in East Longmeadow, makers of Absorbine and Absorbine Jr., Atlantic Fasteners of West Springfield and Savage Arms of Westfield,” the Republican newspaper in Springfield, Mass. reported.
Atlantic has received the award over a dozen times in the award’s 27 year history.
