Aerospace division: Gold Medalist Supplier recipient again

For the second year in a row, the Defense Supply Center of Richmond Virginia has recognized Atlantic’s aerospace division with a Gold Medalist Supplier award.

The award reflects perfect quality and on time delivery for shipments from Atlantic to the Center during 2006.
  
“Considering that our aerospace sales rose 10.3% in ’06 and we didn’t hire additional help, the award has special significance to our department,” noted Marc Dionne, aerospace division manager. 

Dionne founded the division in 2004, after working 11 years for two other aerospace distributors. He has helped propel significant growth from the start. First quarter ’07 sales are already up 16.2%.

Currently, the division is seeking an entry level quality inspector to help handle the increase.

Dionne and an associate will be attending the annual business conference at the Defense Supply Center in Richmond, VA June 4th-6th, where he will receive a Gold Medalist Supplier plaque at the awards ceremony.
