Atlantic hires five, launches new division, names new president
With traditional and Internet business swelling more than 15% year-to-date, Atlantic has hired five employees to help sustain its consistently high service levels. Georgia London and Tara McGahan are new customer service/purchasing professionals who will be cross-trained for each spot. Both gained extensive experience at local firms. Dorota Cygan and Bob Worth, new outside sales people, handle Western and Eastern Massachusetts territories respectively. Worth served 18 years as a New England sales rep for Textron Fastening, while Cygan marketed insurance locally. Marc Dionne, with eight years of aerospace and military fastener experience on the East Coast, heads Atlantic’s new mil-spec division. In addition, Tony Peterson, Atlantic’s former Chief Operating Officer, has been promoted to President. Peterson has been responsible for Atlantic’s advertising and marketing since 1984. Majority owner, Patrick J. O’Toole, remains Chief Executive Officer.
