No more guessing about inventory levels or waiting for quotes to order common items
After five months of development, Atlantic has launched its latest website, complete with simpler navigation, revised content and online ordering. "Now customers can register to order, check stock in real time and place orders for standard fasteners without contacting us," notes President Patrick O'Toole. "For nonstandard and special fasteners, the site shows stocking levels but requires a quote from us since price and delivery can vary considerably," he continues. Customers can also print invoices, create a list of favorites for quick reordering and check open orders. To streamline navigation, O'Toole says his web development team analyzed the parts of the site that customers most frequently visited and placed new linking tabs to those areas. The site also features Atlantic’s newest ‘Self Scan’ offering for customers who want to manage their own inventories by bar code scanning and company-wide productivity, kaizen and surveying results. O’Toole says the new site represents Atlantic’s
fourth major change in eight years and includes 59 pictures of
