Bengt Blendulf worked in the fastener manufacturing business from
1966 until 1989 before joining the faculty of Clemson University’s

magnesium attachment methods and components.

Background:
Mr. Pierce worked 38 years as a Senior Product Development Engineer
for Delco Electronics Systems, now a Division of Delphi Electronics & Safety,
where he developed and staffed its fastener technology center.
He retired in 1997. He has been an invited member of Sopheon-Teltech
Technical Expert Knowledge group, now INTOTA, since 1997.

Hexagon Software. The program is an extended version of the
German VDI-2230 analysis method

through his company, technical support and testing equipment
to over 300 testing laboratories and fastener manufacturing
facilities
- Developed
the M-Alpha audit method for determination of clamping force
on fastener assemblies. Based upon torque-angle-signature analysis,
it allows direct estimation of clamp force on threaded fastener
assemblies without the use of strain gaged bolts or ultrasonic
transducers.
Background:
Mr. Shoberg has a BSME from the University of Michigan. Before
starting his own firm more than 30 years ago, he served as a flight
test engineer and project engineer at large manufacturers.
